Sometimes home feels like a person. Sometimes "home" is a person in certain ways. My whole body breathed a sigh of relief and soothing relaxation when Chris hugged me. I am so glad to have him here for a visit. Catalina Island was a wonderful time. Nick (Chris' brother) totally set us up! We had the most amazing hotel room for a great deal, he took us to all the great spots to eat(we love eating good food) and showed us all around the spots you wouldn't know to look at. We didn't do a lot of "activities" but we partied. It was great.
And now we are back home. Getting ready to leave for UCLA at 3:30am to be there for Maylisa's surgery. Pray with us, dear friends. We know that, whatever happens, God will have good planned for it. We are only hoping and praying that what happens will be what we so fervently desire- that we get a healthy little baby girl that recovers from this surgery and lives with us for many years to come. Dare we be so bold as to pray this over and over? YES!! We have been for months. Please pray with us today. The surgery starts at 7 am. Thank you. We will definitely post a follow up.

I hope and do pray that May's surgery went well today. I hope she's able to recover quickly and that they were able to solve her problem through the surgery. I'm so glad that Chris got to come home to support you and May during this time.
