Moving! (again...for the fourth time in CA)

In light of the fact that May will need surgery, we have decided that it will be beneficial to move in with Chris' parents in Corona while Chris is in Korea. This will be a very sudden and un-planned move thus creating a lot of stress around Thanksgiving. We are moving, having a house guest, celebrating Thanksgiving, and saying goodbye to Chris all in just 4 weeks.
Thankfully, moving makes it possible for us to get the housing allowance from the air force so that, this time, we can afford to pay for movers to come and pack up our house and put it all into storage for us. (We apparently, have about 5000 lb.s worth of stuff- good grief!) We just couldn't face all the packing within 2 mo.s (we just decided this two and a half weeks ago) and asking all of our friends for help with yet another move.
The allowance from the military will also make it more possible for us to fly Chris out next summer to be around for May's surgery. This is a gift from God, I know.
We are consistently encouraged and filled with joy at these little things that we see as God';s hand at working this situation. We are not feeling overwhelmed or anxious. I have had a few moments where I have thought too hard and too long, but other than that, we are at complete rest.
We are so thankful for that. We are more concerned about the stress of moving in such a busy time with so little preparation. But, those things work themselves out.
Thanks for keeping up. We are excited and bewildered and in wonder over this new stage in our lives that approaches us. We know that with such circumstances, God must have good things hidden inside....we are excited to unwrap the year and find out what those things are.
